First Ever Give-Away

After much hemming and hawing, I've taken the leap and decided to actually make some physical cards.  These are all cards that have appeared in this blog.  They are high quality card stock with both front and back printed. These are closer to Topps Archives type feel than the actual vintage 60s or 70s feel.  But they are NOT cheapo cardstock or paper prints.

I will be selling these for $10 a pack, plus shipping.  I am still working out the details. In the mean time. here is a tease as to what cards are in my first pack:

Now due to an error, I got twice as many of the 1982 Fleer Major League Prospect card of Sandberg and Boggs.  So I'm giving them away to 10 random people who leave a comment. Just leave a comment here, and on Friday I'll pick 10. I'll then contact those 10 for their mailing address.

I'm also giving 10 away on Twitter. Check me out @CardsThatNever. I am asking for a follow and retweet.  I will then select 10 winners there. Good Luck.

***************************UPDATE*************************

Lots of great comments already. My first batch is done already. But I am curious which cards of mine would you like to see in the physical form?

  2. I would be up for a Sandberg/Boggs custom. I think with the WTHB packs and your packs out, it’s finally possible to get customs from most of the big time custom card bloggers out there. Thanks for the giveaway.

  4. That sounds great John, but will we be able to specify which cards we want in our pack (since some of us are only interested in certain years)?

  5. New category: Double Prints That Never Were! Although I don't know that Fleer ever did the double print thing. Looks nice in any event.

  6. Sounds great. I have the same question as JD.

  7. To answer JD and Old Cards: I am selling them as a pack. But I am also looking into selling them individually. Unfortunately, because I have to print in bulk, it is more economical for me and you in the pack. But if this idea is well received I will be doing it again.

This is where you can help. Let me know in the comments which cards from this blog (or even cards I haven't made yet) that you would want a physical card of.

    1. Those all star cards you made in the Topps 63 through 67 and 71 through 73 formats would make nice packs.

  8. Would love to see the Alt-1973 and Alt-1975 Jim Palmer cards, as well as the Alt-1971 World Series Subset and your 1966 O's Double Trouble with Brooks and Frank Robinson. Also love the 1978 Brooks Robinson All Star Honorary Captain card, the 1977 Eddie Murray and the 1981 Cal Ripken. You've done so many amazing Orioles cards that it would be great to order them individually, or perhaps create a team pack.

  15. How about a 1959 Wilmer "Vinegar Bend" Mizell? He didn't have any cards from 1959-62.

  17. Would love to actually see your '67 Alt-Topps multiplayer card of Gary Peters and Joel Horlen on cardboard!

  18. It would be great to create the 1967 multi-player cards that Topps ignored:

    Yankees
    Senators
    Athletics
    Cubs
    Reds
    Astros
    Dodgers

(Bob Lemke and someone else already made the Red Sox and Angels cards.)
