Willie McCovey
1938-2018
Yesterday we lost another legend. Willie "Stretch" McCovey. I put together one more 1972 Alt-Topps card in his honor. Additionally, I have included all of the cards I've made of McCovey over the years for this blog.
Sorry to hear about the passing of McCovey. He came up just about the time I discovered baseball, so I remember him well. Nice cards of him.
ReplyDeleteTried to acknowledge earlier, but it's getting harder to prove that I'm not a robot! Anyway way sad to hear to hear of the death of "Stretch", a soft spoken man who could create thunder with his bat. Your 72' alt is a real nice tribute. "Buzz" Bryant
